Comprehensive fire safety for Cambridgeshire helicopter base

Jackson Fire & Security is helping Cambridgeshire based helicopter medics protect their aircraft 24/7.

Magpas Air Ambulance appointed Jackson Fire & Security to maintain the fire extinguishers, fire alarm, intruder alarm, emergency lights and CCTV at the charity’s Operations Base at RAF Wyton. The charity operates a helicopter and rapid response BMW, staffed by highly trained Pre-Hospital Doctors and EEAST Paramedics.

Branch Director for East Anglia, Sam Gale said: “Taking responsibility for the maintenance of the fire and security systems at the Magpas Operations Base is no easy task, and requires the highest level of technical ability. We were very pleased to have been trusted by the charity for this responsibility.”
